UPDATED: Tue., Dec. 12, 2017
Three people were injured in a head-on collision near Pullman on Monday evening.
A vehicle driven by 26-year-old Markous Kelp was heading northbound on State Route 195 near milepost 14, when it began to overtake a slower-moving vehicle in the fog, the Washington State Patrol said in a news release.
Kelp’s 2004 Toyota Camry struck a southbound 2011 Toyota Prius head-on, driven by 53-year-old Wanda Nuxoll and with 60-year-old Donald Nuxoll as a passenger. All three were transported to local hospitals with injuries.
Kelp is facing a charge of second-degree negligent driving.
