Meidl appointed to executive board of Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs

Spokane police Chief Craig Meidl has been appointed to the executive board of the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs.
Miedl’s appointment becomes effective Jan. 1, according to a news release. He will replace Bremerton police Chief Steve Strachan, who was recently named WASPC’s executive director.
WASPC’s mission is to enhance public safety through collaboration among law enforcement executives.
“It’s a true honor to be selected to serve on the WASPC Executive Board,” Meidl said. “I am looking forward to working with colleagues throughout Washington to help provide a positive impact for our state’s law enforcement.”
