WSU volleyball coach Jen Greeny signs contract extension
Wed., Dec. 13, 2017

Washington State University and women’s volleyball coach Jen Greeny have agreed to a contract extension, Cougars interim Director of Athletics John Johnson announced on Wednesday.
“The Cougars volleyball program has continued to build and find success under Jen’s leadership,” said Johnson. “I was pleased with our performance this past season and am looking forward to watching the program continue to grow.”
Greeny led the Cougs to the second round of the NCAA tournament in each of the past two seasons. WSU knocked out Florida State in the first round last season before falling to national semifinalist Nebraska in the second round.
Greeny, whose contract will run through June of 2023, has a 109-120 record in seven seasons at WSU. She was the 2016 Pac-12 Coach of the Year.
For the second straight year, the Cougars had six players named to the Pac-12 All-Academic and senior Casey Schoenlein received the prestigious Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year award.
