NIC rolls over Highland at NWAC Crossover in Coeur d’Alene

RayQuan Evans scored 26 points with seven rebounds and four assists and Tyler Brimhall added 23 points and seven rebounds in the North Idaho Cardinals’ 94-76 victory over the Highline Thunderbirds (4-7) at the Holiday Inn Express NWAC Crossover in Coeur d’Alene on Tuesday.

Evans was 10 of 15 from the floor with three 3-pointers and Brimhall was 8 of 14 while making 5 of 9 3-point tries. Aushanti Potts-Woods added 14 points and Jarod Greene 12.

NIC (6-3) led by four at halftime before outscoring the Thunderbirds 55-41 in the second half, finishing with at 53 percent shooting overall and making half of their 22 shots from the arc.
