Gonzaga slipped four spots to No. 19 in the USA Today college basketball poll released Tuesday.

Villanova holds down the top spot in the coaches’ poll with 27 first-place votes and 795 points. Michigan State, with six first-place votes and 769 points, is second. Preseason No. 1 Duke is third, followed by Arizona State, Xavier, Texas A&M, West Virginia, TCU, Virginia and Wichita State.

Gonzaga is just one point ahead of No. 20 Tennessee and two in front of No. 21 Texas Tech. Saint Mary’s received 11 points.

The Zags (10-3) dropped eight spots in the AP rankings Monday from No. 12 to No. 20.
