BIKING – Cyclists plan to gather New Year’s day to honor the life of well–known Spokane cyclist Ted Moon. Moon died unexpectedly earlier this month from heart complications.
Riders will meet at 1:30 p.m. at the Seven Mile Airstrip parking lot in Riverside State Park, said Dan Wilson, a leader in Evergreen East (Mountain Bike Alliance). The tribute ride is not an Evergreen East organized event, Wilson said.
“This is a ride for all bikers who may have known or ridden with Ted, or just want to ride in his honor,” Wilson said in a Facebook message.
