Dishman Hills Natural Area ramble planned for New Year’s Day

HIKING – Ramble through the Dishman Hills natural area on Jan. 1 in a moderately difficult hike. Organized by the Dishman Hills Conservancy, this walk will start at Camp Caro and travel south Past Caro Cliff to Goldback Spring. From there it will ascend the Giant’s Staircase and go toward Eagle Peak.

The hike will be lead by Rick Severn. There will be stops along the way to discuss the geography, geology and ecology of the Dishman Hills.
