Post Falls woman pleads guilty to hiding assets in her bankruptcy filing

A Post Falls woman has pleaded guilty to hiding assets from the government when she filed for bankruptcy protection in 2013.

Rebecca C. Buell, 48, of Post Falls, pleaded guilty to concealing $38,960 from her chapter 7 filing, according to a news release.

Buell faces up to five years in prison at her sentencing, which was scheduled for April 25 before U.S. District Judge Edward Lodge in Coeur d’Alene.
