Lady Gaga follows up Super Bowl with tour announcement; stop planned at Tacoma Dome

HOUSTON – Fresh off a high-wire, crowd-pleasing halftime performance at the Super Bowl, Lady Gaga has announced plans for a world tour kicking off this summer, with the first U.S. concert set for Aug. 5 in Tacoma.

Gaga posted news of the tour on Twitter late Sunday night. The 48-date tour includes stops in North America, Europe and Brazil.

Several of her U.S. include performances at baseball stadiums, including Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Boston’s Fenway Park. The tour is in support of her latest album, “Joanne,” released in October 2016.

The tour begins on Aug. 1 in Vancouver, B.C., and moves to Edmonton, Alberta, before heading stateside for a stop at the Tacoma Dome. The tour wraps up on Dec. 14 in Salt Lake City.

Tickets for the Tacoma concert go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 13 through Live Tickemaster. Prices will range from $45 to $1,500.
