Gonzaga freshman Killian Tillie produces one of his top games

LOS ANGELES – Gonzaga freshman forward Killian Tillie had one of his best stretches of the season Thursday when he produced 11 points in 8 first-half minutes to help the Bulldogs defeat Loyola Marymount 90-60.
Tillie made all three of his field-goal attempts and all four of his free throws to help Gonzaga take a 50-28 halftime lead.
“I just tried to play with intensity, run the bigs and try to get points on the fast break,” the native of France said. “I think that really helped me to score baskets.”
Tillie nailed a 3-pointer shortly after checking into the game. He had another basket erased by a charging foul. The 6-foot-10 forward finished with 11 points, one shy of his season high.
