Trump will overstep

Back in D.C., Republicans have been accusing Democrats of perpetual whining about losing the election. They claim that Democrats hate Trump.

Here in Moscow, I’ve spent 46 years as a loyal Democrat, and I haven’t whined (much) to anybody about our election loss, and I don’t hate Trump. I’m terrified by him. He has seemed so casually poised to tweet away our alliance with NATO, alarming European leaders and cozy up to Putin without understanding he’s being played. He’s a needy child-man who is dangerous because he is ignorant and impulsive and doesn’t see consequences.

Eventually he will hugely overstep, and the Republican Party may have to remove him from office. Let’s hope they do it in time.
