The Gonzaga Bulldogs’ quest for a perfect season continues Thursday night when they host the San Francisco Dons.

This will be the 77th meeting with the Dons. The Zags lead the series 54-22 and have won 10 straight against the Dons since a 66-65 loss at USF on Feb. 18, 2012.

Head coach Mark Few has only lost to the Dons four times in his career. His record against USF is 33-4.

San Francisco hasn’t found success beating Gonzaga in Spokane as the Bulldogs have won the last 27 matchups at home, including all 12 inside the McCarthey Athletic Center.

Earlier this season, Nigel Williams-Goss scored a career-high 36 points in Gonzaga’s 95-80 win at San Francisco on Jan. 5.

In Spokane last season, the Zags shot 15 of 37 from 3-point range to defeat the Dons 86-48. Kyle Wiltjer, Domantas Sabonis and Silas Melson each scored 15 points, while Josh Perkins added another 13 points. Melson had five of the Bulldogs’ 3-pointers in the win.

The Dons won the first match between the schools 64-62 on Jan. 28, 1961.
