Idaho girls: Bayley Brennan scores 15 points and Post Falls finishes third in 5A

Bayley Brennan scored 15 points and Post Falls (21-3) downed Madison (20-7) 50-37 on Saturday in the 5A third-place game at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa.

Tyler McCliment-Call added 12 points with four rebounds and four assists for Post Falls. Melody Kempton grabbed eight rebounds to go with four points.

Mountain View 43, Lake City 32: Taeli Carrillo scored 17 points, Abby Kreiser added 12 and the Mavericks (22-5) beat the Timberwolves (20-7) in the 5A consolation bracket final at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa.

Nina Carlson led Lake City with 14 points, while Bridget Rieken and Keara Simpson grabbed nine rebounds apiece.

3A

Teton 55, Priest River 40: Jenna Abbott scored 28 points with eight rebounds and the Redskins (21-5) handled the Spartans (10-17) in the consolation bracket final at Middleton HS.

Avery Lynn Summers scored 14 points with nine rebounds for Priest River, while Rachel Akre added nine points with five boards.

2A

Soda Springs 50, St. Maries 36: Kiersten Rasmussen scored 14 points with six rebounds and the Cardinals (23-4) beat the Lumberjacks (16-6) in the 2A third-place game at Bishop Kelly HS.

Kaci Haeg led St. Maries with nine points and added five rebounds. Kelsey Auer had six points with nine boards.

1A Division II

Genesis Prep 35, NezPerce 33: Rachel Schoeder scored 19 points and the Jaguars (15-6) topped the Indians (20-4) in the 1A DII third-place game at Nampa HS.

Bella Murekatette added 10 points with 16 rebounds for Genesis Prep.

Maddie Stapleton led Nezperce with nine points with 13 rebounds.
