Man shot dead at New Year’s party in Redmond

REDMOND, Wash. – Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed at a large New Year’s Eve party at an apartment complex in Redmond.

Redmond Police said firefighters were responding for the second time to a fire alarm around 2 a.m. Sunday when shots were heard. Firefighters called for police backup.

Officers found a man with an apparent gunshot wound outside the clubhouse at the Trails of Redmond Apartment, where the party was being held.

Officers searched the area but did not find a suspect.
