GNL girls basketball: Clarkston, Cheney win

Riley Denton and Makinzie Packwood scored 15 points apiece to lead Clarkston to a 50-35 Great Northern League win over West Valley on Tuesday night.

Clarkston improved to 5-4, 2-1 while West Valley is now 6-5, 1-3.

Cheney 51, Pullman 35 Maggie Smith made 7 of 15 3-point attempts and scored 27 points to lead the Blackhawks (6-3, 2-1) past the Greyhounds (3-8, 0-3).

Holly Smith added 13 points in the winning effort.

Kenzie Druffel led Pullman with 12 points.
