US Bank Branch at Northpointe Plaza robbed
Wed., Jan. 4, 2017

Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a US Bank branch in North Spokane today.
The robbery was reported just before 11 a.m., Spokane Police said. The branch is located at Northpointe Plaza, on the North Newport Highway.
Police believe the robber may have fled southbound, ditching his car in a parking lot near In Touch Therapeutic Massage on N. Market Street.
The US Bank robbery comes a day after two credit union branches in Spokane were robbed.
Police say they don’t believe the robberies are related.
The Tuesday incidents both took place at credit unions inside grocery stores – the first at the Alaska Credit Union inside the Safeway at 933 E. Mission Ave., and the second at the Alaska Credit Union inside the Safeway at 2507 W. Wellesley Ave.
In both those cases, the man handed tellers a note demanding cash and saying he had a weapon, but no gun was displayed in either robbery, police said.
Anyone with information on the robberies Tuesday and Wednesday is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
