Area gymnastics: Ferris’ Jessica Harpel wins individual, Central Valley takes team honors

Jessica Harpel of Ferris earned a total score of 33.825 to claim the individual title, while Anna Lamoreaux scored 33.125 to help Central Valley earn the team honors in a GSL meet.

Harpel won the vault, placed second in the floor exercise and third on the beam. Lamoreaux won the floor, was second on bars and tied fro third on the beam.

Shadle Park edged Lewis and Clark (129.85-126.725) for second, Ferris (117.075) was fourth and North Central (59.35) fifth.
