Area school districts announce weather-related delays, closings

Several area school districts have announced delays in the start of classes Monday because of poor driving conditions that are expected following freezing rain and several inches of snow that fell across the Inland Northwest on Sunday.

The following changes to Monday schedules have been announced:

Creston Schools: Two-hour delay

Garfield-Palouse Schools: Two-hour delay; buses will run on paved roads only.

LaCrosse Schools: Two-hour delay

Lind-Ritzville Schools: Two-hour delay

Moses Lake Schools: Closed
