No Discover Pass is needed Sunday and Martin Luther King Jr. Day at Washington state parks.

They are two of a dozen free days scheduled for 2017. On other days a Discover Pass, costing $30 for the year or $10 a day, is required for each car.

A Discover Pass still will be needed Sunday and Martin Luther King Jr. Day for land managed by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Department of Natural Resources and at Sno-Parks.
