Silver Skaters host women’s hockey jamboree

The Silver Skaters, a 50-plus women’s hockey team based in Spokane, is holding a jamboree involving skaters from the Northwest and Canada.

In its third year, the jamboree has three games scheduled at Eagles Ice-A-Rena in Spokane on Jan. 28 and 29. Silver Skaters involves members of all ability levels who love playing the sport. The oldest player is 77, and the youngest is 50.
