Shooting suspect charged with attempted murder of Bonner County deputies

Adam Deacon Foster has been officially charged with two counts for attempted first-degree murder in connection with the shooting of two Bonner County deputies.

The deputies were attempting to arrest Foster at his home near Blanchard on Jan. 16 on misdemeanor warrants when Foster allegedly shot both deputies three times. Foster was also wounded in the exchange. The deputies were both released from the hospital this week and remain on paid administrative leave.

Foster is expected to appear in court in Bonner County on the attempted murder charges on Thursday.
