Jacob Wells scored 17 points to help visiting Pullman (12-5, 5-4) defeat West Valley (9-9, 4-6) 61-46 on Saturday in Great Northern League play.
The Greyhounds, sixth in state 2A in the latest RPI rankings but second in the league behind Clarkston by 4 1/2 games, outscored the Eagles 17-4 in the first quarter and West Valley couldn’t come up with a rally.
Jake Cillay added 14 points and Jared Anderson had 10 for Pullman.
West Valley was led by Conner Whitney with 19 points and Bryan Andrews added 12.
East Valley 56, Cheney 48: Treyshaun Bracey scored 15 points to lead the visiting Knights (10-9, 5-6) to a win over the Blackhawks (8-10, 1-9).
East Valley, ninth in the RP rankings in state 2A, allowed just 17 points in the second half to pull away.
A strong defensive second half, outscoring the Blackhawks 28-17 help the Knights win by a total of eight points.
Justice Reiter led Cheney with 12 points and Cam Hardt added 11.
Northwest Christian 52, Davenport 33: Asher Cox scored 18 points and helped the fourth-ranked Crusaders (16-1, 13-0) beat the visiting Gorillas (7-10, 6-7).
Nolan Burns scored 13 points with 10 rebounds and Ryan Ricks added 11 for NWC, which limited Davenport to single digits in each of the last three quarters.
Jaden Flett scored 14 points to lead the Gorillas.
Colfax 67, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 27: Danny Robinson and Carson Cloaninger scored 16 points apiece and the Bulldogs (13-4, 11-2) beat the visiting Broncos (6-11, 4-9).
Camden Smith scored nine to pace the Broncos.
Springdale 71, Kettle Falls 46: Chandler Carr scored 26 points with 12 rebounds and the Chargers (11-6, 7-6) defeated the visiting Bulldogs (5-12, 2-11).
Austin Howder added 18 points and Tyrone Dorris had 13 for Springdale, which pulled away with a 16-7 third-quarter run.
Jake Kenney scored 19 points to lead Kettle Falls.
St. George’s 64, Wilbur-Creston 32: Erik Farias scored 26 points as visiting the visiting Dragons (10-7, 9-4) got past the Wildcats (5-12, 4-9).
Farias was joined by Dylan Sweeney with 10 points. St, George’s held W-C to 10 points in the second half.
Wilbur-Creston was led by Tucker Odegaard with 13 points.
Almira/Coulee-Hartline 74, Curlew 29: Mac Isaak scored 24 points and the visiting Warriors (17-2, 13-0) defeated the Cougars (6-13, 5-10).
Charley Hunt added 10 points for ACH, ranked seventh in state 1B in the latest RPI ratings. The Warriors built a 27-7 lead after the first quarter.
Justin Hanks scored 12 points to lead Curlew.
Selkirk 72, Columbia 40: Jacob Couch scored 16 points and the visiting Rangers (15-4, 11-3) clinched first place in the Northeast 1B North with a win over the Lions (2-16, 1-12).
Austin Robertson scored 14 points and Thomas Huttle added 11 for SElkirk, ranked 12th in state 1B.
Columbia was led by Riley McLain with 11 points.
Wellpinit 77, Cusick 40: Cedric Bowen scored 20 points and the Redskins (14-3, 9-3) defeated the visiting Panthers (9-10, 9-6).
Brandon Flett added 16 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists for Wellpinit, which opened the game with a 21-6 run through the first quarter.
Devin Browneagle scored 16 points to lead Cusick.
Odessa-Harrington 88, Northport 40: Freshman Ryan Moffet scored 42 points, sitting out the fourth quarter, and the visiting Titans (11-7, 9-4) defeated the Mustangs (6-13, 3-11).
Moffat drilled 10 3-pointers in the onslaught. O-H raced out to a 26-15 lead after the first quarter – then got better, distancing from Northport with a 27-5 second-quarter run.
Camden Weber scored 21 points for O-H and Colton Hunt added 14.
Aiden Middlesworth scored 13 points with seven rebounds and six assists to pace Northport.
Inchelium 92, Valley Christian 34: Jaden Erickson led six in double figures with 24 points and the visiting Hornets (10-8, 9-5) defeated the Panthers (1-18, 1-12).
Winston Finley scored 13 points, Kobe Seymour and Terrance Holford added 11 piece while McKennon Andrews and David Christianson chipped in with 10 apiece.
Jaret Mei scored seven points to lead Valley Christian.
Pomeroy 68, Oakesdale 54: Ryan Wolf scored 19 points to lead the 1B eighth-ranked and league champion Pirates (16-1, 12-0) over the host Nighthawks (7-11, 4-8).
Pomeroy’s defense forced 24 turnovers on Oakesdale. Cort LaMunyan scored 11 points and Jace Gwynn had 10 for Pomeroy.
Cameron Schell scored a team-high 15 points to lead the Nighthawks.
Garfield-Palouse 63, Prescott 53: Mason Bates scored 21 points and the Vikings (10-7, 7-5) defeated the visiting Tigers (9-6, 7-4).
Daniel Orfe added 16 points for G-P, which pulled away with a 13-7 fourth-quarter run.
Travis Crockett led Prescott with 24 points.
St. John-Endicott 74, Touchet 60: Adam Blakely scored 34 points and the Eagles (3-14, 1-10) beat the visiting Indians (2-12, 1-11).
Adam Blakely went 12 of 17 from field and hit 9 of 10 free throw attempts. Cooper Lundberg added 13 points for SJ-E
Josue Preciado scored 22 points to lead Touchet. Bryan Andrade and Justin Warren added 12 apiece.
Kellogg 63, Priest River 46: Chase Jerome scored 15 points and the Wildcats (12-2, 4-0) beat the visiting Spartans (6-9, 3-2).
Hunter Hartwig led Priest River with 18 points.
North Star League
Genesis Prep 80, Mullan 24: Stephane Manzi and Junior Williams scored 21 points apiece to help the Jaguars (11-4, 6-0) defeat the visiting Tigers (2-8, 0-6).
Jake Shelton added 14 points for Genesis Prep, which limited Mullan to single digits in all four quarters.
Gryphon Todd led the Tigers with eight points.
Lakeside 71, Clark Fork 60: Takoda Abrahamson scored 30 points and the visiting Knights (5-8, 2-4) defeated the visiting Wampus Cats (4-6, 3-2).
Abrahamson shot 12 of 17 from the floor including 4 of 4 from beyond the arc.
Trailing by four after one, Abrahamson got the Knights going with 10 points in the second quarter for a seven-point halftime lead. Abrahamson put up another 12 points in the third quarter.
Tyrell Ambro added 14 points for Lakeside.
Clark Fork was led by Kobe Banks with 26 points and Spencer Jeffres added 20.
Sandpoint 64, St. Maries 57: Robbie Johnson scored 13 points to help the Bulldogs (3-12) defeat the visiting Lumberjacks (8-4), ranked fourth in state 2B but playing up two levels, 64-57 on Saturday.
Patrick Rockwell added 12 points for the Bulldogs.
Brady Martin scored 19 points and Jacob Sieler added 12 points to lead the Lumberjacks.
