Gonzaga’s Williams-Goss named WCC player of the week

Gonzaga’s Nigel Williams-Goss was named the West Coast Conference player of the week Monday.
Williams-Goss received the weekly honor for the third time this season.
The junior guard helped Gonzaga (22-0, 10-0 WCC) to victories over Portland, San Diego and Pepperdine. He made 19 of his 33 shots from the field, had 18 assists and pulled down 13 rebounds in the three wins.
Williams-Goss was 11 of 15 field-goal attempts en route to 25 points against San Diego. He added 12 points, eight assists and grabbed six boards versus Pepperdine.
