Try this tax plan

I have a suggestion to raise the money needed to fund the McCleary decision and keep all of the important social programs we currently need. This plan would also be a fairer tax plan than one used by our state government.

Abolish our state sales tax. Replace it with the income tax plan used by the Oregon. Add a 10 percent capital gains tax. We would generate more than enough to cover McCleary and keep the fine social programs we currently get. It is also the fairest way to make sure all people, rich or poor, are paying their share.
