Volunteers needed for Rosauers Open Golf Tournament benefitting Veanessa Behan Crisis Nursery

The Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery needs another 60 volunteers for its 2017 Rosauers Open golf tournament fundraiser at Indian Canyon Golf Course.

It’s the 30th tournament, said Vanessa Behan executive director Amy Vega.

About 65 teams of five players each are expected to tee off starting Wednesday morning.

Volunteer shifts begin as early as 5:30 a.m. and run until 11 p.m. at night.

Amateurs play Wednesday and Thursday, and the pros play Friday through Sunday.

Vega said the tournament will take place no matter now many volunteers sign up between now and Wednesday morning, but a higher number of volunteers makes for a better experience for golfers.

It takes about 200 volunteers to staff the tournament.

Volunteers should call (509) 326-8900 ext. 193
