Police investigate dead body found in Chief Garry Park neighborhood

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a dead body found inside a house in north Spokane.

A disturbance was called in to dispatchers late Thursday night for the home on the 2400 block of East Desmet Avenue.

No one has been arrested. Police were preparing to remove the body following a search of the home and processing of the scene by the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The home is about three to four blocks south of Chief Garry Park.

Investigators have not disclosed if they suspect homicide. Nor have they released information about the deceased person.
