The Viking is celebrating its grand opening this weekend with a bunch of specials – and everyone’s invited.

Festivities take place Friday through Sunday.

Look for happy hour specials, daily specials and more.

There’s live music from SideStep on the patio starting at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Specials include $5 Buffalo mules featuring spirits from Buffalo Trace as well as $5 Fireball shooters and 50-cent chicken wings.

Saturday night, the celebration includes a fete for Darin Talotti, one of the new owners. His business partners – Krista Christofferson and Greg Healy – will also be on hand to meet and greet customers.

The Viking recently underwent a complete remodel. The longtime popular bar had closed in September. The new owners bought it in December and began renovations with help from longtime Viking manager Steve Barclay.

The new vide is “less divey” and more modern and family-friendly. The Viking is at 1221 N. Stevens St. Call (509) 326-6241
