Former Gonzaga Bulldog Kyle Wiltjer’s stay with the Los Angeles Clippers will apparently be a short one.

Wiltjer, one of seven Houston Rockets dealt to the Clippers last month in the Chris Paul trade, was waived Saturday, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Shams Charania.

Wiltjer averaged 5.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in four games with the Clippers in the Las Vegas Summer League. He shot 37.5 percent from the field.

Wiltjer split time between Houston and the franchise’s D-League team in his rookie season. The 6-foot-10 forward scored a season-high seven points against Sacramento. He played 44 minutes in 14 games with the Rockets.

Wiltjer averaged 18.6 points in two seasons with Gonzaga. He spent the first two years of his career at Kentucky.
