Fundraising drive sets goal of buying meal delivery van

The Women and Children’s Free Restaurant is holding a fund-raising campaign to buy a new meals delivery van.

The restaurant’s old van was taken out of service last year, and volunteers have been delivering more than 700 meals a week in the nutrition-to-go program.

The fund drive seeks to raise $20,000 to go with a $15,000 donation from Numerica Credit Union.
