Ronald McDonald House is seeking volunteers

From local reports

Spokane’s Ronald McDonald House is recruiting volunteers.

Volunteers are needed to answer phones, do light housekeeping and help guests and staff with various needs. Volunteers must commit to eight hours a month for at least six months.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and undergo a background check.

Ronald McDonald House, 1015 W. Fifth Ave., has been providing temporary lodging, comfort and support for families with children accessing medical services in Spokane for 30 years.

If it weren’t for the volunteers, Ronald McDonald House would not be able to do all it can for families, volunteer coordinator Debbie Fucile said Tuesday.

If interested in volunteering or more information, contact Fucile at (509) 624-0500 or debbief@rmhcinlandnw.org.
