Spokane schools to offer free summer meals to all children under 18

Spokane Public Schools will be offering free meals for children throughout the summer, according to a news release.

The Summer Meals Program is federally funded and is aimed at providing food for children in low-income areas. The meals are free to all children under 18 and there is no registration necessary, according to a news release. Meals are served on a first come basis.

The program runs from June 19 until August 18.
