Gonzaga’s Nigel Williams-Goss is one of 10 semifinalists for the Naismith Trophy, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced Wednesday.

Williams-Goss, named the WCC Player and Newcomer of the Year on Tuesday, leads the Zags in scoring (16.3), assists (4.8) and steals (1.7). He also averages 5.6 rebounds per game and tops the WCC in free-throw percentage (90.9).

The Naismith Trophy is awarded to college basketball’s most outstanding player.

Kansas is the only school with two semifinalists: Frank Mason III and Josh Jackson. The Big 12 Conference has three semifinalists while the Big Ten and ACC both have two. UCLA freshman Lonzo Ball is the lone representative of the Pac-12.

The four finalists will be announced March 19.
