An alleged drunken driver who caused a crash on Trent Avenue Wednesday had her 5-year-old child and several pounds of marijuana inside her car at the time, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Nissa A. Birdsbill, 36, was driving her Ford Explorer west on Trent when she attempted to drive between two vehicles and rolled her car near Dollar Road, the WSP said. Birdsbill allegedly spit on a WSP Trooper while she was being interviewed.

She was taken to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center for treatment before she was booked into the Spokane County Jail on charges of reckless endangerment, driving under the influence, felony drug possession and assault.

A juvenile in one of the cars Birdsbill hit was injured and taken to the hospital.
