Fifth-year seniors Przemek Karnowski and walk-on Rem Bakamus have been part of Gonzaga’s five consecutive West Coast Conference tournament championship teams after the Zags’ 74-56 win over Saint Mary’s on Tuesday.

“It feels good,” said Karnowski, who received a medical redshirt after undergoing back surgery last season. “I haven’t lost in Vegas and I won’t lose in Vegas. Going through all the teams, I came here the first year with Kelly (Olynyk), Elias (Harris), Sam (Dower), David (Stockton), Kevin (Pangos) and Gary (Bell Jr.).

“And now I’m the oldest one. We have so many new guys, transfers and freshmen. I’m so happy how they embraced being a Zag.”
