Gonzaga’s Mark Few named Sporting News’ Coach of the Year

Gonzaga’s Mark Few on Thursday was named Sporting News’ Coach of the Year.

The fourth-ranked Zags (32-1) won the WCC regular-season and tournament titles in Few’s 18th season as head coach. The Zags have clinched their 19th consecutive NCAA tournament appearance.

Few earlier this week was named USA Today’s Coach of the Year. He also earned his 11th WCC Coach of the Year honor.
