Gonzaga’s Przemek Karnowski finalist for Abdul-Jabbar Award

Gonzaga’s Przemek Karnowski is one of five finalists for the 2017 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Award, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced Friday.

Karnowski is averaging 12.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. He ranks third in the conference is overall shooting percentage (60.1) and was first in WCC play (65.3).

Karnowski is Gonzaga’s all-time leader in career wins with 132.

Lehigh’s Tim Kempton Jr., Saint Mary’s Jock Landale, Seton Hall’s Angel Delgado and Wisconsin’s Ethan Happ are the other four finalists.
