Friends group hosting book sale at North Spokane Library
Wed., March 22, 2017
The Friends of the North Spokane County Library will hold its semi-annual Used Book Sale on Friday and Saturday at the North Spokane County Library.
The fundraiser will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Paperback books will sell for 50 cents and hardback books for $1. CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs and books on tape and CD will also be available. Payments must be made with cash or check.
Proceeds from the sale will be used for library activities such as Spokane Is Reading, the summer reading programs for children, teens and adults, and early learning materials.
The North Spokane Library is located at 44 E. Hawthorne Road.
Local journalism is essential.
Give directly to The Spokesman-Review's Northwest Passages community forums series -- which helps to offset the costs of several reporter and editor positions at the newspaper -- by using the easy options below. Gifts processed in this system are not tax deductible, but are predominately used to help meet the local financial requirements needed to receive national matching-grant funds.
