Silverwood Theme Park to open this weekend

Silverwood Theme Park north of Coeur d’Alene will open its gates for the season this weekend and be open each weekend through May. Daily operations begin May 27.

The daily admission price this Saturday and Sunday is $19.88 in recognition of the park’s opening year, 1988. Tickets can be purchased online or at the front gate.

The following weekend, for Mother’s Day, moms get in free with purchase of a child’s ticket.

Silverwood also will offer free admission over Memorial Day weekend for all military personnel and veterans, police officers and firefighters (identification required) along with discounts for their spouses and children.

Silverwood is the largest theme and water park in the Northwest, with over 70 rides, slides, shows and attractions on 221 acres.
