The Inland Empire Gardeners’ Garden Expo 2017 will feature over 250 vendors Saturday at Spokane Community College, 1810 N. Green St.
The event will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is free.
Demonstrations will be held in the Lair Conference Room and Lair Auditorium. Topics in the conference room will be: garden journaling at 10 a.m.; making medicinal salves, 11 a.m.; rain barrells, 1 p.m.; and tomatoes, 2 p.m. Topics in the auditorium will be: Japanese maples in Spokane, 10 a.m.; weather, 11:30 a.m.; clematis, 1 p.m.; and a presentation by local media personality Phyllis Stephens, 2:30 p.m.
