Recaps for the Seattle Mariners top affiliates for Tuesday provided by team releases and wire reports.

Tacoma (AAA)

The first of a four-game series between the Tacoma Rainiers and the Omaha Stormchasers in Nebraska was postponed due to inclement weather. The teams have a scheduled doubleheader on Wednesday and will make up postponed game as part of a doubleheader on Thursday.

NW Arkansas 7, Arkansas (AA) 6

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Allan de San Miguel doubled and singled twice, driving in two runs as the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (20-160 topped the Arkansas Travelers (14-23) 7-6 on Tuesday.

Mauricio Ramos homered and singled with two runs for NW Arkansas.

NW Arkansas grabbed a 3-1 lead in the second after de San Miguel hit a two-run single and Ruben Sosa hit an RBI single.

Trailing 7-5, the Travelers cut into the deficit in the fourth inning when Gianfranco Wawoe hit an RBI double, driving in Ian Miller.

Pedro Fernandez (2-2) got the win in relief while Arkansas starter Max Povse (3-2) took the loss in the Texas League game. Jake Newberry pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings for his sixth save of the season.

Miller singled twice, scoring two runs for the Travelers.

With the win, NW Arkansas remains undefeated (6-0) against Arkansas this season.

Lancaster 9, Modesto (High-A) 5

MODESTO, Calif. – Wes Rogers doubled and singled twice, scoring two runs as the Lancaster JetHawks (21-18) defeated the Modesto Nuts (22-17) 9-5 on Tuesday.

Garrett Hampson tripled and singled twice with two runs for Lancaster.

Trailing 1-0 in the first, Modesto grabbed the lead when Eric Filia hit an RBI triple and then scored on a sacrifice fly by Joey Curletta.

The JetHawks took the lead for good with four runs in the third inning. Brian Mundell hit a two-run home run en route to the three-run lead.

The JetHawks later added a run in the fifth and three in the sixth. In the fifth, Sam Hilliard hit an RBI double, while Roberto Ramos and Chris Rabago hit RBI doubles in the sixth.

Carlos Polanco (2-2) got the win with 2 1/3 innings of scoreless, one-hit relief while Modesto starter Nathan Bannister (2-3) took the loss in the California League game.

Jordan Cowan doubled and singled, driving in two runs for the Nuts. Chris Mariscal singled twice, scoring two runs.

Clinton (Low-A) 15, Wisconsin 3

APPLETON, Wis. – Gareth Morgan hit a pair of homers, leading the Clinton LumberKings to a 15-3 win over the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Tuesday.

Anthony Jimenez and Kristian Brito also homered for the LumberKings.

Morgan hit a two-run shot in the third inning and then hit a solo homer in the fourth, both off Jordan Desguin.

Clinton starter Nick Wells (1-3) picked up the win despite allowing three runs over 5 2/3 innings. Opposing starter Zack Brown (0-2) took the loss in the Midwest League game after allowing four runs and five hits over two innings.

Clinton hit a season-high seven doubles in its victory.

Tucker Neuhaus homered and doubled for the Timber Rattlers.

With the win, Clinton improved to 4-1 against Wisconsin this season.
