Two teens charged over nude photos at Oregon high school
EUGENE, Ore. – Two teenagers face felony charges after police found sexually explicit photos of girls who attend North Eugene High School.
A probable-cause affidavit filed this week says the police investigation began in February, after a student told an officer that one of the teens had shown her nude photos of numerous female classmates that he had on an iPod.
Detective Chris Mackay wrote that the young man subsequently allowed the officer to view images on the iPod, and police found thousands of photos along with videos.
The Register-Guard reported one defendant is charged with using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct. The other was arraigned Thursday on a charge of second-degree encouraging child sexual abuse. Neither is currently being held in the Lane County Jail.
