Ahlquist campaign on Labrador’s endorsements today: ‘DC politicians and their special interest groups’

David Johnston, campaign manager for GOP gubernatorial Tommy Ahlquist, had this comment on rival Raul Labrador’s endorsement today by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz:

“No surprise here that D.C. politicians and their special interest groups are supporting another D.C. politician. Is Congressman Labrador running for Congress again, or is he running for governor of Idaho? Tommy Ahlquist is a political outsider who brings new ideas and a fresh approach to shake up Boise and that’s exactly what D.C. politicians and political insiders are afraid of.”
