Emerson-Garfield area church will set up dumpster for clean green yard waste

Emerson-Garfield residents can take advantage of a free clean green collection on Saturday at Faith Bible Church at 600 W. Cora Ave.

A dumpster will be set up from 9 a.m. to noon or until the bin is filled up.

Leaves and grass must be placed in bags. Branches that are no thicker than 3 inches must not exceed 6 feet long.

Church volunteers will be available to help rake leaves, weather permitting. Neighborhood residents may call (509) 326-9455 to request assistance.
