Maryhill Winery plans grand opening celebration for new Kendall Yards tasting room
Maryhill Winery is hosting a grand opening celebration at its new tasting room in Spokane’s Kendall Yards.
The newly built space encompasses 5,000 square feet and features an antique bar, main tasting room, reserve room and 180-degree views of downtown Spokane and the Spokane River.
Grand-opening hours are noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19. Plus, from 5 to 7 p.m. that Saturday, Molly Allen of “Dave, Ken & Molly” from KZZU, 92.9 Modern Hits will be broadcasting live from the new tasting room.
Discounts on wine will be available from Nov. 18 to Nov. 26 at the new location, 1303 W. Summit Parkway, Suite 100. The Spokane tasting room is Maryhill’s second location.
Maryhill is owned by Spokane natives Craig and Vicki Leuthold, who founded the winery in 1999 on a bluff overlooking the Columbia River Gorge outside of Goldendale. It debuted its first vintage two years later. Today, it’s one of the largest wineries in Washington state, producing some 90,000 cases annually.
