State soccer: Deer Park falls to La Salle 2-1 in the State 1A quarterfinals

Kamryn Fiscus scored a goal and added an assist and La Salle defeated visiting Deer Park 2-1 in a State 1A quarterfinal match on Friday.

Jessie Thomas tied it up for the Stags in the 22nd minute but Fiscus found the net for the go-ahead goal with an unassisted shot in the second half.

The Lightning advance to play in a semifinal matchup at Shoreline Stadium on Friday.

St. George’s 1, Liberty Bell 0: Cambrie Rickard scored in the 11th minute with an assist from Maddy Christiansen to lead the Dragons over the Mountain Lions in a State 2B/1B quarterfinal match at Gonzaga Prep.

The Dragons advance to a semifinal match against Saturday’s Crosspoint/Brewster winner at Sunset Stadium in Sumner on Friday.


St. George’s 4, Life Christian 0: Mitch Ward scored all four goals and the Dragons shut out the Eagles at Gonzaga Prep.

Noah Galow added two assists. St. George’s advance to a semifinal match against Prescott at Sunset Stadium on Friday at 6:00 p.m.

St. George seeks its third-straight state title.
