Epicurean Delight announces culinary award winners

The 36th annual Epicurean Delight featured small plates from 30 restaurants, 30 different drinks, and opportunity to raise money for the Inland Northwest Blood Center. The sold-out event took place Nov. 10 at the Spokane Convention Center. It was attended by 1,100 people.

Six culinary awards were given at the event. They are:

Outstanding Hors d’oeuvre – 1898 Public House for its Ahi Poke Tuna

Outstanding First Course – Thai Bamboo for its Som Tum (Papaya Salad) and Gaeng Phed Langoustine (Red Curry)

Outstanding Entree – Spencer’s for Steaks and Chops for its Gold Grade Zabuton

Outstanding Dessert – Marsells Cakes and Desserts for its Rose Petal Petit Four and Lavender Petit Four

People’s Choice Best Restaurant – Bonefish Grill for its Saucy Shrimp and Misoyaki Seabass

People’s Choice Best Libation – One Tree Hard Cider for its Caramel Cinnamon Hard Cider and Cranberry Hard Cider

Proceeds raised from this year’s event will go toward the expansion of INBC’s automation process for transfusion services. On the web: epicureandelight.org.
