North Spokane Library benefit used book sale will be Friday and Saturday

A semiannual used book sale will be Fridayand Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, at the North Spokane Library, 44 E. Hawthorne Road.

The Friends of the North Spokane Library organized the sale to benefit the library. Paperback books will be 50 cents each and hardbacks will be $1 each. CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs, and books on tape and CD ALSO will be available. Only cash or checks will be accepted.

Proceeds from the sale will support library activities such as Spokane Is Reading, the Summer Reading Programs for children, teens and adults, and Early Learning materials, according to a news release.
