Girls soccer roundup: Kaelyn Barnes keeps Central Valley undefeated, atop GSL standings

Central Valley 4, Mt. Spokane 1: Kaelyn Barnes scored the go-ahead goal in the 60th minute and visiting Central Valley (10-0, 7-0) defeated Mt. Spokane (6-5, 4-3) 4-1 on Friday in a Greater Spokane League game. Anna Hilbert bent an untouched corner kick into the back of the net to tie the game up in the 53rd minute.

Lewis Clark 2, Mead 1: Erynn Gores scored the winning goal in a shootout and visiting Lewis and Clark (7-3, 4-3) defeated Mead (7-3, 4-3) 2-1. Alli Schoultz scored the only goal for the Tigers. Margo Schoesler scored the Panthers’ only goal in the 77th minute.

Ferris 9, Rogers 0: Jill Calkins’ four goals paved the way for visiting Ferris (5-6, 2-5) to defeat Rogers (0-10, 0-7) 9-0. Riley Hildebrand scored twice and Gracie Day pitched in four assists for the Saxons.

University 3, Shadle Park 0: Kelsey Crosby had a pair of goals, one in each half, and University (6-4, 5-2) rolled past visiting Shadle Park (3-8, 2-5) 3-0.

Gonzaga Prep 3, North Central 0: Makena Dodson put the Bullpups on the board in the 27th minute and Gonzaga Prep (8-3, 5-2) shutout visiting North Central (3-7, 2-5) 3-0.
