Girls soccer roundup: Taylen Wohl’s goal and assist advance Clarkston to District 7 2A Finals

District 7 2A semifinals:

Clarkston 4, Pullman 0: Taylen Wohl scored a first half goal and added a second half assist and Clarkston beat Pullman 4-0 at Lincoln High School on Thursday. MaKinzie Packwood added a goal and an assist for the Bantams.

West Valley 3, Cheney 0: Abby McConnell netted a pair of second half goals and West Valley beat Cheney 3-0. Madeline Liberg scored the Eagles’ first goal shortly before halftime.

District 7 1A semifinals

Lakeside (WA) 1, Medical Lake 0: Maddie Hall scored the winning goal in the shootout and Lakeside (WA) beat Medical Lake 1-0. Payton Williams had three saves for Lakeside (WA) in the shootout.

Deer Park 2, Freeman 1: Gracie Allen scored the winning goal in overtime at the 82nd minute mark and Deer Park defeated Freeman 2-1. Jessie Thomas scored in the first half and assisted on the winning goal in overtime for the Stags. Lindsay Balkenbush scored in the 71st minute for the Scotties to send the match to overtime.
