Girls soccer: Gonzaga Prep loses opener in double overtime to Kamiakin

Maddie Morgan scored in the 87th minute in double overtime and Kamiakin topped visiting Gonzaga Prep (0-1) 3-2 in a nonleague game on Saturday afternoon.

G-Prep’s Grace Cooper scored in the 42nd minute to tie it at 2-2. Chelsea Le added an earlier goal and assisted on Cooper’s for the Bullpups. Emma Hagen made 14 saves for G-Prep.

Central Valley 2, Wenatchee 0: Kaelyn Barnes had a goal and an assist and Central Valley (1-0) beat Wenatchee 2-0. Barnes scored in the 33rd minute and assisted on Megan Robertson’s 70th minute tally for the Bears. AJ Crooks and Jenna Lauer had one save apiece splitting time in goal.

Moses Lake 5, Post Falls 2: Madi Krogh scored two quick goals and Moses Lake rolled past Post Falls (1-2) in a nonleague game. Maddi Lasher scored in the 16th and 49th minutes for Post Falls.

Chiawana 2, Lewiston 0: Hannah Haertling scored twice to pace visiting Chiawana over Lewiston (2-2).
